Jean Pierre Zamor's Obituary
Jean Pierre Zamor was born on April 30, 1983, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to Enide and Izmedor Zamor. His family later relocated to Brooklyn, New York, where Jean was raised alongside his three brothers.
Jean was a devoted husband and father, loving son, caring brother, and a loyal friend to all who knew him. He was a selfless provider and a hardworking entrepreneur, but above all, he was the heart of his family. His wife and children were the light of his world, and he lived each day with them at the forefront of his purpose.
A true car enthusiast, Jean found joy in the simple things—family time, meaningful conversations, and laughter. He and his wife shared a deep “family first” philosophy, and it was his highest hope that his children would have every opportunity to succeed and thrive. Wherever Jean went, he lit up the room—his presence left people feeling uplifted, loved, and seen.
Jean was comical yet serious, passionate yet reserved, and one of the most humble people you could ever meet. He had a quiet strength, a kind spirit, and a heart full of love. He deeply loved his Lord and Savior and was a true reflection of God’s love in the world.
Jean departed this life on June 25, 2025. He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Enide and Izmedor Zamor; his brothers, Yvenson (Sheena), Emmanuel (Elmire), and Elie Zamor, all of Brooklyn, NY; his devoted wife and life partner, Celeste; and their three beloved sons, Jordan, Xavier, and Christian of Charlotte, NC.
He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Carol Andoh, father-in-law, Felix Rodriguez, and Kiara Patterson, who like like a daughter to him, along with a host of loving relatives, extended family, and friends, including Aunt Deliverence Simon, the Michel family, Millionard family, and Simon family, who will forever hold his memory close.
The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dana Transport.
Jean’s life was a blessing, and his legacy of love, strength, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday, July 11 at James Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 12 at James Funeral Home.
