Jedd Gaddy's Obituary
Jedidiah “Jedd” Augustus Gaddy, Age 26, departed from this world on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Jedd was born on November 19, 1993 at Mercy South Hospital in Pineville, North Carolina.
His name means Beloved of God. He grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina where he studied Computer Science at Central Piedmont Community College. He was a skilled construction worker. He enjoyed creating things with his hands, playing guitar, solving puzzles and helping others. He was innovative and technologically gifted. He loved to hike and always looked on the bright side of things. He had a smile that would light up a room and a laugh that echoed with joy.
He is preceded in death by his girlfriend, Sue Ellen Castillo. He is survived by his daughters, Farrah Marie Deal and Sailor Moon Earnhardt; father, Larry “Tony” Gaddy (Stephanie Gaddy); mother, Elizabeth Wilson (Robert Wilson); brothers, Dillon Anstone Gaddy and Parker Lee Gaddy; sister, Dayna Gaddy Gibby (Stevan Gibby); and his six nieces and one nephew.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020, 1:00 PM at James Funeral Home. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 PM. The interment will follow the funeral service at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
