Jennifer LePrell's Obituary
Jennifer Kay Egendoerfer LePrell, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2024, at the age of 53. Jennifer, born in South Bend, Indiana, was raised in the Catholic faith and lived her life accordingly. She was known for her unwavering kindness, infectious laughter, and compassionate spirit.
The sudden and unexpected loss of Jennifer has left her family and friends in deep sorrow. Despite the challenges she faced in the last decade of her life, including battling Type 1 diabetes, which took her sight and eventually her leg, her spirit remained unbroken. Jennifer had a heart of a champion and the spirit of a fighter, inspiring all who knew her to persevere in the face of adversity with strength and unwavering positivity.
Jennifer's life was characterized by her dedication to her family, friends, and community. She touched the lives of many through her generosity and selflessness. Jennifer enjoyed playing tennis, hiking, and camping with her family, creating cherished memories in the great outdoors.
As a high school guidance counselor, Jennifer provided support, guidance, and encouragement to countless students. She held a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida State University and a Master of Education from the University of North Florida, shaping her career with a deep understanding of human behavior.
Jennifer was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority at Florida State University, forming lifelong friendships and wonderful memories.
Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Aaron LePrell, with whom she shared 30 years of marriage; her cherished children, Hunter LePrell, Riley LePrell, and Reese LePrell; her beloved mother, Rita Egendoerfer; her devoted father, Thomas Egendoerfer; her sisters, Angee Richards and Kelly Egendoerfer; her brother, Brian Egendoerfer; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister Amy Marie Egendoerfer.
A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on March 1, 2024, at 11:00 AM at James Funeral Home in Huntersville, North Carolina.

A future memorial service is planned for June in South Bend, Indiana, to honor Jennifer’s life and legacy.
