Sheila so sorry for your loss, Jerry was a real good friend over the years,So sorry for James,Jim, Todd and George.We know Jerry is in a better place andwill be greatly missed, We know he is in Heaven.You Know God will not put more on you than you can bear even though it don't seem like it. Shelia, my heart breaks for you. I know how much Jerry loved you and talked about you all the time. Jerry as a co-worker and a friend was the best of the best; a real class act. He never ever had a bad thing to say about anyone at all. He was humorous, funny and had a classic laugh that was infectious. I was home in December and I was going to come out to your house and see you guys. But time got away from me. I went by the shop on the morning I was getting ready to leave. And had some one on one time with Jerry. He was so shocked to see me. I gave him a huge hug. Asked him how you were doing. He said you were doing fine. We shared a few other thoughts and and had to get on the road. I looked at Jerry and gave him a huge hug and told him I loved him, not knowing that would be the last time I saw him. When I got notified of the news, I cried for an hour. I can’t imagine what your going through. But I love you Shelia. If you need anything let me know. Love, Garland, Hunter, and Haven.
I am not sure where to start this man meant a lot to my family. I remember the story of how he made so many waffles with my daughter when she came to visit them, three times a day. All the things he did for my mother too numerous to list, she loved him very much. I look at the recliner in my living room and see him sitting there and asking where is my biscuits and gravy he loved for me to fix for him but only after telling e never mind dont want you to work lets just go grab one of those awful Bo biscuits. He would get after me if i said a bad word and was always asking got anything you need me to fix for you. I have a dishwasher because he put it in for me. I always had him a cup ready when they were coming to visit for his tobacco small things like that made him smile. Ice cream will always make me think of this gentle man with his kind and loving ways. My heart is broke but I know God gained an angel. My husband said he loved to walk through the junk yard and just talk. To my sister I love you and will always be here for you.
