Jill had a special way of dealing with life. She was low key but had a positive outlook which shone through with a ready smile. As a sister she gave sage advice.
As a mother she had a warm and loving nature. When I would visit with her I always came away with warm thoughts and memories. She was a ray of sunshine . She will be missed and always remembered.

My sister Jill was the kindest and least selfish person I ever knew. She was always the one in the family who was calm and thoughtful and who was there to help when needed. As the oldest in a family of five children whose mother was working, she often acted as a substitute mom and did it wisely. And she was truly kind. Always considerate in her dealings with other people; always wiling to assume the best of others.
She was the best and we will miss her so.

Jill Garrison was the original “cool mom”. The Garrison house was the place I wanted to be growing up - lively, creative, inclusive - all due to this woman. Her spirit was infectious. Thinking of you all and sending my deepest sympathies in your loss.
