Jimmy Stillwell's Obituary
Jimmy Dean Stillwell, age 77, died on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Levine Dickson Hospice House. He was born on November 7, 1940, to the late Blennie Leonard and Lola Mae Stillwell, in Charlotte, NC.
Mr. Stillwell was a Mechanic with Folger’s Buick, now known as Williams Buick. He was a faithful employee for more than 30 years before he retired. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy is predeceased by his son, Jimmie Dean Stillwell, Jr., who died on February 8, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor June Ward Stillwell of the home and to whom he was married to for over 59 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Crystal S. Ray (Jack) of Dallas, NC, five grandchildren; Lola Kristen Giles, Nicholas Stillwell, Bobby Dean Giles II, Danelle Stillwell, Hunter Zeckel, five great grandchildren, siblings, Johnny Stillwell (Kathy), Peggy Hough (Butch), Kenny Stillwell, (Gloria) and a large family of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to give a very special word of thanks and great appreciation to Tim McDonald who gave so much of himself to care for the grounds and property for the Stillwell family during Jimmy’s illness.
The family will receive friends at 3:00 pm, Monday, July 23, at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville. Jimmy’s Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of James Funeral Home with Reverend Vern Dodd officiating. Burial will be private.
