Joann Foster's Obituary
Joann Benson Foster, 71 of Charlotte died November 28, 2016. She was born on April 26, 1945 in Seneca, SC to the late George and Martha Benson. She spent her career dedicated to education. Joann was a devoted follower of Christ. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 12 and lived each day as a shining light for Him. Her sincere desire was that others would turn their hearts over to The Lord Jesus.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, brother, Ronnie and brother-in-law, Clyde. Survivors include her daughters, Towanda Peppers and husband James of Pendleton, SC and Stephanie Palmer and husband Paul of Charlotte; siblings, Mamie Williams, Tommie Keasler (Floyd), Margaret Pressley (Paul), George Benson (Judy), Harry Benson (Diane), Leonard Benson and 3 grandchildren, Jada, Cameron and Aidan and friend Floyd Wright.
Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 3 with visitation one hour prior at Harvest Community Church of Huntersville. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. James Funeral Home of Huntersville is serving the family. www.jamesfuneralhomeLKN.com
