I am very sorry to learn today (Dec.16, 2016 )of my cousin Joanna's death. We were very close growing up in Belmont, MA. I telephoned her a few times this year and we talked for several minutes. She informed me of her illness and I was so very sorry. I hoped that one of her children would have kept me informed of her health. I am Lisa's godmother but we have not kept in touch. Is she buried in Denver? Her parents (my aunt and uncle) are buried in Belmont cemetery. Any information you can give me would be appreciated. Maybe her children could get in touch with me. Joanna was the wife of my maternal first cousin Thomas Grabinski. Tom and Joanna treated us to an elaborate lunch during the period in Massachusetts when Joanna was settling matters related to her mother;s death. Tom attended my own mother (Dorthy Grabinski Gendreau)'s death. As I no longer lived in the area where Tom grew up we rarely met. Tom was as I very interested in genealogy and provided valuable information about the Grabinski's ancestors. Joanna was a very nice woman and I pray her passing was peaceful.
