Sorry that Bobbie and I are not "roadworthy" to attend Uncle Joe's funeral today. I will always remember the family gatherings (often hosted by my mother) where Uncle Joe was always the life of the party. As an honored member of the disappearing Greatest Generation, we thank Joe for his service to our family, community, and nation. Steve, we know that you will continue to make Joe a proud father.

I was so saddened to hear about Joe’s death; I was the Senior Director @ Northdale Baptist Church for a number of years & Joe was a member of our group. He was always a very nice & courteous man & could tell funny tales about growing up in the hills. When we took our trips to the mountains he could tell us every road & curve to take!
