John David Howard's Obituary
John “David” Howard, age 66, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle against his illness on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Levine Dickson Hospice House, in Huntersville NC. David was born on July 8, 1951, the son of the late John Carpenter and Margaret Alley Howard.
David is survived by his loving wife of over 34 years Barbara Wilson Howard, two daughters, Melanie H. McCrea and Laura H. McGuire and her husband, Gregory, five grandchildren, Cassie McCrea, Summer Robbins, Jaysa Robbins, Ryder McGuire and Cole McGuire, four sisters, Gretha Woodard, Lynda Blackwelder, Vickie McKinney (Vick) and Tammy Cain (Tim) and two sister-in-laws June Lane (Bill) and Donna McMillan (Robin).
He was predeceased by a son, Jeremy Knox Howard in 1999.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 22, in the chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078. The family will receive guests immediately following the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Levine Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
