John David Morris' Obituary
John David Morris, age 39, of Charlotte, died on Thursday, October 11, 2018. John was born in Raleigh, NC on April 28, 1979, son of Tracy G. and Betsy Davis Morris of Wilmington and husband of Nicole Morris of Charlotte.
John grew up in Knoxville, TN and attended the University of Tennessee receiving his Bachelor's degree in Business. After graduating college, John started his career with Acosta Sales & Marketing where he worked for 15 years. John was a loving and humble man, father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He was the kind of person who would be there when you needed him without question and found joy in helping others. We were blessed to have him in our lives and now he lives in our hearts.
In addition to his parents, Tracy and Betsy and his wife of thirteen years, Nicole Moore Morris, John is survived by his daughters, Amelia and Katie, both of the home; sister, Holly Morris Reynolds, nephew, Jackson Reynolds and father-in-law, Blaine Moore. John also leaves behind many friends and colleagues who will miss him daily.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:50 PM at the funeral home. A Celebration of John’s life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville with Reverend Donnie Mitchem officiating.
