John Paul Hurlahe Jr.'s Obituary
John Paul Hurlahe Jr., 73, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at his residence.
He was born on December 11, 1948 and was the the son of the late John "Jack" Paul Hurlahe, Sr, and Genevieve Mary Hurlahe. He was a native of Detroit, Michigan and has lived in Charlotte since 1988. John served as a member of the United States Marine Corp and was a baseball fanatic, being a life long fan of the Detroit Tigers. John was also a lifelong fisherman. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Jean Clute.
John was survived by his brother, Michael Terrence Hurlahe of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Ashley Brooke Adkins and husband Law Chris Adkins of Mooresville; grandchildren, Tanner Finnerty, Charlotte Adkins, Georgia Adkins, Charlie Adkins and many loving cousins and nephews.
John was a loyal friend to all, God Speed, Go Blue and Semper Fi.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Mt. Zion Community Church Cemetery in Cornelius, NC.
