Mary Stanek
In loving memory of my dear Brother, John: You were surrounded by love even in death. Michele, Lori and I were with you at the hospital and at your home caring for you until you made your way to Heaven on October 4th.
John, we have so many memories together since we were born, some had said we were joined at the hip. It was you who walked me down the aisle to marry Dan and we are now celebrating 55 years together. You were the Godfather to Michele. Through good times and bad, marriages and kids, we always came together to enjoy our families, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
I remember our childhood caring and protecting each other in every situation. Oh, the fun we had downtown shopping on Saturdays - especially during Christmas, going to the movies, riding our bicycles everywhere, snowball fights, dances, oh, the pranks through the years, and travel. We took our kids camping on weekends all over New York - Letchworth State Park, Watkins Glen, etc.

Even though life took us in different directions, you moved to Tampa and us to West Palm Beach, we were together on weekends. We had our boats and oh the many stories we could tell of being stuck in situations that are now extremely funny. The same was true when we gave up boating and moved on to motor homing. We traveled the country together, trips up and down the east coast from Florida to Maine. The wonderful Great Lakes trip covering all the Great Lakes through Canada and back down to Florida, motor home rallies everywhere and so much more.

Lori and I were reminiscing about the time she lived with you for 4 months while she did her Internship at Arthur Anderson in Tampa. She told of the lunches you shared and meeting your friends, watching the sunsets together. weekend outings and oh so much more. Thank you for guiding and being there for her.

John, our memories are vast and I will never forget you because you are with me always. We may not be together physically but I know in my heart we will meet again,
Love you my dear brother, your Sis Mary
