John Wesley Fish's Obituary
John Wesley Fish, 84, of Mooresville, NC passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Brian Center in Mooresville.
He was born on December 21, 1930 in Iredell County, NC and was the son of the late Henry Walter and Bessie Alley Fish. He was employed for 38 years and retired as Vice President with Carolina Marking Devices in Charlotte, NC. He was a member of the Cornelius Lions Club for 38 years, Hopewell Baptist Church in Davidson and enjoyed drawing and painting.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy Ann Martin Fish; daughter, Diane Fish Honeycutt and husband Rick of Statesville; son, Jeffrey Fish and wife Lynne of Cornelius; two sisters, Peal Cunnup of Davidson and Annie Ruth Little of Cornelius; two grandchildren, Jessica Sawtelle and Eric Honeycutt; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 2:30 PM, at Hopewell Baptist Church with Rev. Samuel Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service in church sanctuary.
