Joseph Ralph Burris' Obituary
Dr. Joseph Ralph Burris, D.C., 79, of Huntersville passed away November 10, 2022.
He was born December 13, 1942 in Charlotte, NC to the late Joe and Grace Burris. Ralph graduated from North Mecklenburg High School, Wingate College, Lenoir-Rhyne College and Lincoln Chiropractic College in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Ralph enjoyed travel including a mission trip to Indonesia, baseball and spending time with his family. He was a faithful deacon, teacher and committee member of Statesville Road Baptist Church for many years and knew the only way to heaven was through faith in Jesus Christ.
He practiced as a Doctor of Chiropractic for 45 years and owned his own practice for 40 of those years.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by and remembered with love by his sister, Laura Burris White, his nephew, Jerry White (Holly) and niece Renee Story (Scott).
Receiving of friends will be held on Monday, November 14, at 10 a.m., funeral following at 11 at Statesville Road Baptist Church, 4901 Statesville Road in Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Statesville Road Baptist Church in Charlotte.
