Joseph Raymond Seliga's Obituary
Joseph Raymond Seliga, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, after a long illness. He was born to the of the late, Joseph R. and Ann Kavic Seliga in McKeesport, PA.
Joe retired as a purchasing agent for Painter Tool in Irwin, Pennsylvania. He was most proud of his 50-year membership with the Shidle Masonic Lodge in Irwin, Pennsylvania. Joseph was also an Army Veteran and was proud to serve the country he loved.
He was married to Nancy Jane Miller Seliga and retirement took them to first Lexington, South Carolina and then to Loris, South Carolina. Most recently he and Nancy moved to the Charlotte area to be closer to Nancy’s family. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jane Miller Seliga, his son Justin R Seliga, Trafford, PA, his daughter, Nena Seliga-Hall, his daughter and son-in-law Leesa and Keith Pfeffercorn, McKees Port, PA, three grandchildren, Brandon Hall and Ashley and Michael Pfeffercorn. He is survived by three siblings JoAnn Scholl and husband James Scholl of Lexington, South Carolina, Vera Seliga of Massachusetts and George Seliga of Ohio. He is also survived by five step children.
