Joseph Sparks' Obituary
Joseph Pedrick Sparks of Tega Cay, South Carolina, passed away Monday, September 30th, 2019
Joe grew up in West Deptford Township, New Jersey and served in the United States Air Force for 24 years. He met his wife, Patricia Evelyn in California while stationed at Travis AFB. They then moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado and also lived overseas in the Netherlands before retiring back to Colorado. Later in life they lived in Yuma, Arizona and Las Cruces, New Mexico before moving to Tega Cay, South Carolina.
Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Evelyn, parents - Joseph and Laura along with his sister Marie.
He is survived by his loving family, 3 daughters: Melanie Faith (Michael) of Placitas, New Mexico, Dawn Marie (Ian) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kimberly Ann (David) of Charlotte, North Carolina. He also has two granddaughters, Delaney Jo and Amara Marie. In addition, his brother Bud and sister Bettyann, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the Levine Dickson Hospice House, 1825 Eastway Dr, Charlotte, NC. 28205.
Services will be private.
