Dear Jason, Danika, Jamie, Jaydan & grandparents:
When a baby that has become the center of his parents’ boundless love is suddenly the focus of their boundless grief, please find comfort in knowing that God would never bring such calamity on humans. The Bible says in Job 34:10 “Far be it from the true God to act wickedly, and the Almighty to act unjustly!” Millions of angels were created long before humans as powerful creatures. (Psalm 148:2, 5) So what about precious Joshua? Jesus said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” At that time, the earth will be a paradise where sickness and death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:1-4) Until that day comes, God reveals that the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all. (Ecclesiastes 9:5) Rest assured that Joshua is definitely in Jehovah God’s memory. May my expression of genuine empathy help console you.
