Hi, my name is Jaron Pickett and I was a student at Winding Springs Elementary School.
I just happened to be looking up old classmates that I remembered from those days, and to my surprise and discomfort I've stumbled on to this tragic news.
I remember Josselyn quite well. She was very smart, very studious, and always seemed quite mature for her age.
Judi, I also remember you as well. You were a very kind and tolerating person. I wasn't always the easiest child to deal with.
I wonder if you guys still have the class picture from 5th Grade? I held on to it for the longest time, but then I lost it when I moved out of my old house. I remember it almost vividly. It was Ms. Wolff's class. I wore a large yellow T-shirt and some baggy light blue jeans. Josselyn was front and center, red long sleeve top, dark blue denim jeans, and I think she had blond highlights in her hair. She was a very pretty girl, and I wasn't ignorant of that.
I am truly sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine what it is like to lose a child, but if you ever need someone to talk to, please, don't hesitate to contact me. I still live in Charlotte.
And if you still have the class photo, if it is not too much trouble, might I request a scanned copy sent to my email, if at all possible?
I really hope you guys get to read this, and I hope you find much comfort in your time of mourning. If I can aid in that in anyway, it would be my pleasure. Hope to hear from you.

I am deeply sorry to hear of the loss of Josselyn. Josselyn and I were really good friends in High School. She was such a smart, beautiful, and vivacious girl! I have so many memories that I cherish with her. Praying for her family at this hard time. We love you Josselyn!!! May you forever rest in peace sweet girl.
