Juanita Jay's Obituary
Juanita Thompson Jay, 81, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on August 12 2012. Juanita was born to Lindsey Martin Thompson and Missie Idell Thompson in Paw Creek, NC on December 22, 1930. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband James Harold Jay Sr. and brothers JC & Theodore Thompson.
Family left who will cherish her memory, Daughter Linda Gail Jay and friend Dwight Crump of Charlotte, sons James Harold Jay Jr. and wife Christy of Lincolnton, NC, and William Mark Jay of Charlotte NC. Juanita was blessed with six grandchildren, Shelley Dorton, Jody & Husband Eric Kopka, Crystal & Husband Chuck Case, Ashley Helms, Tripp & Cassie Jay and Madison Gardner; Eleven great grandchildren and two great, great, grandchildren. Additional survivors include her sister Goldie Lineberger of Mint Hill and former daughter & son in laws, Mary Jay of Denver & Van Helms of Mint Hill.
We all love & will miss her, but we celebrate her death as she has gone home to our Lord & Savior.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Forest Lawn West.
