Judith Key Martin's Obituary
Judy Martin, of Charlotte, went to heaven to be with The Lord on Thursday, September 28th at the age of 73.
She was born in Charlotte, NC on June 22, 1944. She graduated from Harding High School.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents Oren and Ruby Key and her brother, Wayne Key.
Judy is survived by the love of her life of over forty years, Mack Wilson, her sister Virginia Curlee (husband Everette), her sister-in-law Angie Key, her children Sherry Solesbee (husband Greg), Larry Martin (wife Leslie), Francie Woodward (husband Tony), nine grandchildren, Jennifer (husband Adrian), Lindsey, Brett, Angel (husband Tyler), Abbey, Sara, Samantha, Kelsi and Allen, three great grand children Chloe, Anela, Jovi and her beloved dog, "Trouble."
The receiving of friends will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017 with the funeral following at 4:00pm. Both will be held at New Covenant United Methodist Church at 14514 Lucia Riverbend Highway in Mt Holly where Judy was a member of the United Methodist Women. Burial will follow the funeral at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Cemetery at 1600 W. Mallard Creek Church Rd.
Judy and her family would like to send their deepest thanks to all of the staff of the Med Surge unit of Presbyterian Huntersville and Dr. Mitchell, Chad and the nurses of Southern Oncology Specialists.
