Judy Jones Smith went to be with her savior on January 21, 2022. Judy was born in Lowell, NC on December 16 of 1938 to Calvin Boone and Kate Lowery Jones. She was the ninth of eleven children. She was preceded in death by her par Read Obituary
Judy and I were Friends at the Paw Creek school and also at West Mecklenburg High. I also ran in to her at different times when Jerry was selling Antiques at the market. I really am sorry to see that she has passed away; My thoughts and prayers are with the family and I will think of her and hope Jerry is Okay.

Aunt Judy was a fun and beautiful person, always ready with a hug and a smile. Her sense of humor was infectious, her concern and interest in others unmatched and her love freely given. We are all better for having had her in our lives.

What a beautiful person! We are thinking of all of you. In my childhood, Judy was so much a part of my growing up. She too was such a great friend of my mom's! Her smiled beamed and she was always so gentle and kind. Such great times and memories!
I have so many fond memories of Judy. Her laughter and welcoming attitude were always there from the many times I played over at her house (often playing with Barbies). We lived right across the street and she was a dear friend of my mom (Joyce Christianson). So sorry for your loss.

I have so many memories of Judy over the years. Always smiling, great sense of humor and a one of a kind laugh. She was full of love for her husband, daughter, and granddaughter Judith. I pray God gifts you comfort, especially in the days ahead. I pray you are flooded with memories that make her seem close at hand. I will miss seeing her at the beginning of each new year and getting my hug and smile.
Judy has always been one of those people who light up a room and automatically bring a smile to your lips. I would look forward to seeing what she would wear to church each week, such style!! Most of all I loved her hugs and how she would make you feel like she has been hoping to see you. We will miss her so.
So fondly remember Judy as a model of style and poise - always a calm place in a hectic world. She will be deeply missed!
