Julian Stojek's Obituary
Mr. Julian Joseph Stojek, 95, of Concord, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
Julian was born in Union, NY and grew up in Johnson City, NY and served in the US Army in WWII. He and his wife, Anna, moved to NC in 1979 while working for IBM. In 1991, they moved to Myrtle Beach where they both enjoyed playing golf and square dancing. During retirement he worked at several golf courses over the years and loved being outside. When he could no longer golf he loved to watch it on TV. Julian was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Theodora Stojek; son, Thomas Stojek; brothers, John Stojek and Anthony Stojek; and sisters, Mary Barina and Helen Barina.
Julian is survived by his wife of 73 years, Anna Stojek; their children, Karen Dobrzynski (Donald) of Concord, NC and Robert Stojek (Bonnie) of Endwell, NY; sister, Charlotte Maluchnik; brother, Joseph Stojek; grandchildren, Lauren Fuller (Joshua), Andrew Stojek; and great-grandchildren, Gavin and Logan Fuller. Also several loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The memorial mass will be held on Thursday, February 24, 11:00 AM at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville with the interment following at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville. Reception to follow the interment at James Funeral Home of Huntersville.
