I am so sorry to hear of Karen’s passing. We met while I was doing a short stay in the rehab center after sun. She was so sweet an supportive. I am honored to have been able to call her my friend. My sincerest condolences to her family. I know she will be missed.
I will always remember Karen from Hopewell and the years we spent carpooling with Sara Jane going back and forth to UNCC. She was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. When we were tired or down, Karen would say something to make us laugh and make our day better. Just thinking back to the time spent with her brings a smile to my face. Rest In Peace Karen! You fought a good fight and are hearing “Well done my good and faithful servant. Welcome home”. May God’s comfort surround the family at this time.
