We send our deepest sympathy for the loss of Kathleen to Mike, Aidan, Chloe and the rest of the family. It is a life still young that God has called home and we thank God that her suffering from her horrible illness was not prolonged, though we understand it is hard to say good-bye to our loved ones. The love shared with her three adopted daughters in raising them, as well as raising her grandchildren, Chloe and Aidan, for the past 12 years shows the measure of her heart and desire to do what is best and noble for others.
We especially pray for Chloe and Aidan as the mother Kathleen was to them is suddenly gone and we ask God to watch over them as this transition in life without her will weigh heavy on their hearts. We also pray that while we continue to raise Levi here in Delaware, he will hold special the memories he shared with Kathleen when he was able to spend time with her during his visitations in North Carolina as we know those were special times shared those days. Sincerely, David and Nicole Desmarais
From her grandson Levi, he shares the following message for his grandmother, Kathleen:
I love my GG though I didn’t get to spend much memories with my GG. I was heartbroken when I found out that she died and I know it was hard for Chloe and Aidan, but especially Chloe. It was hard to not be sad when you realize a relative has died. I think everyone loved GG and I am happy that she is not in pain anymore and I think everyone else feels the same way. And, that’s all I have to say. Love, Levi XOXO
