Kathryn Rose Allison's Obituary
Kathryn “Kathy” Rose Allison, of Denver, NC, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
She entered this world on July 16th in Muscatine, IA to her wonderful, late parents Robert and Mary Kornemann. In addition to her parents, Kathy is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Doug Allison. She is survived by their four children, Susan (Mark) Wissinger, Kevin (Terry) Allison, Christine (Jon) Vaccarella, and Stacy (Dustin) Kandel; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her two sisters Carolyn (Ron) Deep, Mary Marlene (Mike) Nevin; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kathy was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Her greatest joy in life was spending time and talking with her family. All who knew her got to enjoy hearing her proud and fun stories about her family. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends, reading, knitting, playing bunco, and the Hallmark channel. However, most of all family, family, family.
A small, private memorial service will be held this year. The family will be planning a broader Celebration Of Life for Kathy in 2023.
