Kathryn Joyce Burris' Obituary
Kathryn Joyce Ferrell Burris, 82 of Charlotte died March 15, 2020. She was born on May 8, 1937 in Mecklenburg County to the late John and Mildred Ferrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Wade Burris; daughter, Mildred Arnold; son-in-law, Ronnie Ownbey; and great-grandson, Joshua Burris.
Survivors include her son, Dean Burris and wife Kim of Cornelius; daughters, Debra Ownbey of York, SC and Tonya Ott of York, SC; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, March 20 at Statesville Road Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Memorials may be made to Barium Springs Home for Children.
