I just saw the dedication to Kathy on the Dekalb Historical Society's website. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
Kathy helped me in the 1990s loaning pictures and memories from Houston Mill for my book on the history of Peachtree Creek. As a result, many people have enjoyed the family heritage she generously shared.
We have been so blessed by our friendship with Kathy and Mike. We have such great memories of visits when we lived in Florida......taking cruises together, trips to Marco Island and of course, spending time at your mountain house and Hilton Head. We miss you, sweet Kathy, for your tender heart and gentle spirit.
Mike and Terri Michner
We will forever treasure the fond memories of times spent in the mountains and Hilton Head with Kathy and Mike. We remember Kathy always as the congenial, giving and entertaining hostess. Kathy's scrumptious and delicious pastries were always a delight to everyone.

Kathy was a gentle- spirited neighbor- always there with a supportive arm- whether after a family member loss or a cherished pet loss. Her instinctive nature provided calm- a flower, card or meal. Good neighbors are hard to come by these days and she was a gem.
