Kaye was a loving wife, beloved mother, and devoted grandmother who will be remembered for her kind heart, love of her husband and family, and her sense of humor. An active member of Independence Hill Baptist Church, Kaye also volunteered weekly at Trinity United Methodist Church, taking up money for their weekly hot dog lunch. Kaye loved to travel with her husband. They went on many memorable trips including a cruise in 2008 with their extended family to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
Kaye is survived by her husband of 53 years, Eric Rodney Rogers, Sr.; her two children and their spouses, Eric and Cindy Rogers, of Indian Trail, NC and Candy and Skip Turbeville, of Cornelius, NC; six grandchildren; her sisters, Judy Kiser of Monroe, NC and Gail Dixon of Charlotte, and her brother, Pete Jones of Statesville, NC and their spouses; and a number of nieces and nephews as well as her two, much-loved cats.
