Keith Bailey's Obituary
Keith Edward Bailey, 39, of Huntersville died April 7, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1986 in Edison, NJ to Clyde Edward Bailey and Geraldine "Geri" Marhefka Bailey.
Keith grew up in Piscataway, NJ where he enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and basketball. In high school, Keith was a member of the cross country team in addition to playing JV and Varsity baseball. Keith and his family enjoyed yearly vacations to Hilton Head, SC as well as holiday visits to his MomMom and PopPop in West Virginia.
After High School, Keith served as a member of the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise CN65. During his 4 years in the Navy, Keith had the privilege to visit many countries including Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Bahrain and Qatar while serving his country.
For 15 years, Keith participated in the yearly Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics in memory of his younger sister, Taylor. Keith's participation in this program raised nearly $20,000 in support of this worthy cause.
As an avid snowboarder, Keith hit the slopes in Denver, Utah, Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania.
Keith is preceded in death by his sister Taylor, his Aunt JoJo Bailey and Uncle Keith Bailey as well as his grandparents, Louise and Edward Marhefka and Beatrice and Clyde Bailey. In addition to his mother and father, Keith is survived by his sister Jaclyn Bailey, his Aunt Jani and Uncle Ernie Fessel, Aunt Laura and Uncle Eddie Marhefka, cousins Krissy (David) Lynch, Danny (Erica) Fessel, Svetlana Marhefka, Vlad (Marissa) Marhefka and dear cousins Grayson, Addison, Nicholas, Joseph, Luke and Adrianna.
