Clark and Judy, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your lovely daughter. May your faith in our heavenly Father help you through this difficult time and give your peace until we all are reunited with our loved ones who reside with God.
To the Kearns family and friends,
We at WCU are saddened by the loss of Kelly, a beautiful young women who will be missed by the faculty, staff, and students that knew her. We have lost a catamount and to us that is family. Please accept our condolences in your time of loss and grief. May God give you peace during this difficult time. You are in our hearts and prayers.
I'm praying for Judy, Clark and Hillary as well as Ted and Betty and all of the Kearns and Rector Family....
Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you to please wrap these family members in your loving arms and console their hearts. I did not know Kelly but from what I read I realize just what a special person she was. Lord we know that Kelly is now at her final home, not suffering and praising the name of our Savior Jesus Christ. She is there waiting to great all her friends and family who will be coming after her. Heal this family's painful wound in their hearts and even tho' the scar is there in their hearts let it always be a "scar of love and compassion" for their lovely girl. Give them peace soon...and please, as the song says "He Shall Cover Me With His Feathers", Lord I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ to "cover them with your Feathers". In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.....
From a Long Time Friend and former co-worker with Ted....God Be With You All.
Clark, Judy and Hilary,
I am so sorry.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore
Psalm 121
Clark and Judy, I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely daughter. No bond is as great as that between parents and their children. Throw all your anxieties on the God of all comfort and revel in the love of family and friends to help get your through this time of grief.
Dear Family and Friends of sweet sweet Kelly. My love, heart, thoughts and prayers go out to each and everyone who was fortunate to have their lives touched by Kelly in some kind of way.
Comforting words never make it any easier to accept the loss of a loved one.But as you grieve also remember all the joy and laughter and love Kelly brought into our world for what seems like a very short time now and smile for Kelly. The Lord chose one of his finest because he must have bigger and better plans for her, one of the prettiest angels I know. You will be missed so very much Kell, Kell. We all love you dearly. May God wrap his loving arms around Kelly's family and friends and give them peace & comfort through the very tough days ahead. May they feel your presence always. I love you all.
Clark, Judy, and Hilary, I have not seen the girls in some time. What a beautiful girl Kelly grew up to be. I know from my good friend Anna, she was just as beautiful on the inside. I I know what a large good Christian family you are a part of, but know all of us that are a part of the family of God, suffer along with you. I pray Psalm 60:11, Lord Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man." You are in my prayers. Caring in the Lord, with love Martha Honeycutt

There are really no words that can be said that will take away your grief or ease you pain. As people of faith you know as we know that God understands and has experienced the grief of lossing a child and you are wrapped in His eternal arms of love & comfort. He cries with you but is also gently wispering a reminder that you will all be together again.
