Kerre Patterson Howard's Obituary
Kerre Patterson Howard, 50, of Charlotte died January 9, 2019 at Duke Regional Medical Center in Durham. She was born in Mecklenburg County on March 23, 1968, to the late Steve and Cecelia Patterson. Kerre graduated from Berea High School in Greenville, SC. Kerre was loved by her family and friends from near and far. She treated her friends as if they were her family. Special thanks is offered to those who loved and cared for Kerre, including her fiancé Mikey Allison, Diana, Linda, Nancy, and Justice. She loved you all. The time you spent with her as she neared the end of her life comforts her family greatly. We always knew she was being loved, supported and cared for. She is now at peace with many in family and friends who have gone before her.
Survivors include her daughters, Cece Howard and Summer Howard, both of Marshville; her brother, James Patterson; as well as 3 nephews, who were like sons to her, Joshua, Steven and Johnathan McCarson, all of Marshville; grandparents, Peggy C. Rhyne and Henry H. Rhyne; uncles, Hank Rhyne, Doug Rhyne (Wife Debbie); Aunt Gigi Mullis (Husband Jim) and a host of Cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Julie Patterson and maternal grandparents, Fuchsia and Cecil Powell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity in Kerre's name.
A memorial service will be held at 1 PM February 2, 2019 at Northdale Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
