Kevan Gaetano's Obituary
Kevan Daryl Gaetano, 56, of Durham, formerly of Charlotte, died on April 3, 2015. He was born in Mecklenburg County on September 13, 1958 to Annie Mae Elliott Gaetano and the late Prosper James Gaetano. Kevan graduated from West Mecklenburg High School, has a BA from Phiffer College and a Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee.
In addition to his mother Ann Parker and stepfather Dalton, survivors left to cherish Kevan’s memory include his children Joshua Gaetano and wife Ashley of Midland, Georgia and his daughter Megan Gaetano of Salisbury; brothers Barry Gaetano and wife Jane, of Charlotte, and James Elliott Gaetano of Charleston, as well as his three grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Evergreen Community Church, 7738 San Gabriel Street, Raleigh, NC 27613.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pleasant Grove Road in Charlotte. Rev. Wes Judy will officiate.
