Kristin Anzalone's Obituary
Kristin died Friday, September 29 , after a 2 year battle with cancer. She died peacefully after a 6 week stay at Levine Dickson Hospice during which time the whole family got to talk with her, have ice cream parties, watch movies and celebrate her life. Kristin was simply a sweet, loving, selfless, caring person always more concerned about those she knew and loved than herself and her own life's trials and tribulations. In that regard she was a carbon copy of her mother Ann who died in May of this year. Together they were a force of nature always reaching out to family and friends in need, sending cards and letters, talking on the phone in support of their needs and volunteering at help centers, for children with special needs or food pantries to feed the homeless. Kristin herself put in over 500 hours of volunteer service at the USO at Charlotte Douglas Airport along with her best friend, Mom. Kristin was truly larger than life in her own quiet way. Kristin is survived by her brother Brendan, her father Charles, and her sister-in-law Maggie. Kristin and her Mom have left a hole in our hearts the size of New Jersey. They will be missed to say the least and will be loved forever by all those that she has touched. Finally you can rest in peace with your Mother my sweet girl, as you so often said " it's all part of the journey" Travel on Kristin!
