Laine was the first friend I made when we moved to NC. Her quick wit, humor, and tell-it-like-it-is personality are all traits I admired about her. She always made me laugh! We shared countless play dates with more laugher coming from the adults then the kids most of the time! She passionately fought for medical care for herself and boys and is a true inspiration to all mothers. I was in shock when I heard the news, I am heartbroken for your family. We will continue to pray for you and the boys during this devastating time.

Marc, I met Laine online several years ago, and we became good friends. She told many stories about you and your boys, and her deep love for all of you touched me. You, Aiden, and Ethan were the center of her life, as I know she was the center of yours. I cannot fathom the pain and grief you are experiencing now, and even though you do not know me, please know you and your boys are in my thoughts during this impossibly painful time. Laine was a singular woman, and she will be sorely missed by all.
Laine was an incredible inspiration to everyone.
She was very passionate about helping others while navigating her own (and sons) health issues.
