Larry Crump's Obituary
Larry Eugene Crump, 81, of Charlotte, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. He was born on September 22, 1939, in Huntersville, North Carolina to the late Henry and Nell Crump.
In addition to his parents, Larry is predeceased by his brother, Jerry Crump.
Larry is survived by his wife, Janice; his sons, Scott Crump (Ruth) and Jeffrey Crump; grandchildren, Evan and Eric; and sisters, Linda Lynn (Roy) and Patricia Hager (F. D.).
Larry worked for his entire professional career for Whitin Roberts Textiles, retiring as Vice President of Sales. He was a loving husband, wonderful and encouraging father, and trusted friend to many. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of antique cars and western movies.
The family will have a private graveside service in the near future.
The family will have a memorial service for Larry and his wife, Janice, who died on July 9, on Tuesday, July 20, 2:00 PM at James Funeral Home with a committal service following at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
