Larry Dulin's Obituary
Larry L. Dulin, 80, of Charlotte, died December 24, 2012 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. He was born on November 19, 1932 in Bowling Green, SC to the late John and Mary Dulin. Larry served in the Navy from 1951-55. He graduated from King’s Business College and then worked for Hennis Freight Lines, Moss Trucking Company as operations manager and then Cheetah Transportation. He retired in 1995.
He is survived by his wife Anne Dulin; son, Larry and wife Laura of Charlotte; daughters, Cheryl Smith and Cynthia Dulin of Charlotte and Susan York and husband Kevin of Southport; sisters Mary Kimbrell and Caroline Helms; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and his dogs Pepper and Lucky.
He is preceded in death by his son John and brother George.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove U.M.C., 6440 Old Statesville Rd., Charlotte, NC 28269.
A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Oak Grove UMC with Rev. Bob Symanski officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Community Cemetery in Cornelius. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 prior at the church.
