Laura Serena Alexander's Obituary
Laura Dellinger Alexander, 103, of Concord, formerly of Charlotte died January 12, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 26, 1920 in Burke County to the late Jay Dellinger and Martha Dellinger.
She is preceded in death by husbands, James Orders, Harvey Christenbury and Lewis Alexander as well as her son Eddie. She Is survived by her daughter, Brenda Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Susan Orders; 3 grandchildren, Scott Greenwood (Rhonda), Allen Orders (Meaghan) and Jeff Orders; and 5 great-grandchildren, Charity Orders, Ryan Orders, Kayla Greenwood, Justin Greenwood and Nathan Orders.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s or Trinity U.M.C.
Visitation will be 1-2 PM Thursday, January 18 at James Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery.
