Laura Renten's Obituary
Laura Armadillo Renten, 63, of Cornelius died November 9, 2022. She was born on May 7, 1959 in Corpus Christi, TX to Alicia Diaz Armadillo and the late Antonio T. Armadillo.
Laura was a wonderful wife, sister, and aunt. She loved the adventure of trying new things, and visiting new places and old friends. Laura was an artist at heart and always crafted decorations and gifts for family and friends to celebrate both big and small moments. An avid dog lover, she loved her pets and enjoyed attending local dog shows. Over the years her career spanned from her enlistment in the US Air Force, to years as a Dental Assistant, to her most recent years as a Surgical Tech with Novant Health. She volunteered at Richard's Coffee Shop in Mooresville to help other veterans and provide a welcoming place to gather. She loved to help so many in her life, and carried on that love as an organ donor. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Philip Renten; mother Alicia D. Armadillo; siblings, Leticia, Tony, Martha and Thelma.
Services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Richard's Coffee Shop in 165 N. Main Street Mooresville, NC 28115
