Linda Brunson's Obituary
Linda Lee Maier Brunson, 73, of Naples FL, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA died October 8, 2020 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. After her long battle with cancer, she went to be with Jesus. Linda was surrounded by her family. She was born on November 4, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Victor and Dorothy Maier.
Homemaker, gardener, arborist, baker, seamstress, and hostess extraordinaire were just a few of the million things that Linda mastered during her lifetime. Her greatest love was as an RN and taking care of others and her red Jeep Wrangler, 2 door-soft top.
LB’s legend will live on through her “Regular American” sayings and creative nicknames for all those she loved. “Alleluia Gratia Plena, Amen.”
Linda will be missed by her husband Charles Richard Brunson of Naples, FL; son, Geoffrey Brunson and wife Tina of Bristow, VA; grandsons Andrew and Samuel Brunson; daughter, Jennifer Marie Angelopoulos of Cornelius, NC; granddaughters Clarissa and Alexandra Angelopoulos; and sister, Virginia “Ginny” Maier of Pittsburgh, PA. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Victor Michael Maier, Jr.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 9:30 am.
