Linda had many very close friends. I am privileged to have dear memories of Linda from 4th grade through college. Linda loved everyone. I think about her so frequently and we lost contact these past five years. Linda was a spirited adventurer with a beautiful smile and cheer. She was adept at learning her territory and that area was vast. She and her family visited all 50 states while she was still at home with parents and Mary Jo.

The date of this posting is April 19, 2015. The reason I am writing 8 months after her death is that a group of high school friends from Southport, Indiana have just learned this weekend of her passing.

There would be MANY more postings if her friends were aware that she is gone. Linda was a very involved friend. I believe she kept tabs on all her friends through phone calls and visits.

May this posting represent the sentiments of all her friends whom she loved dearly. I'm sure we all think of her.

Dear Michael, Michele and families,

There is a hole in my heart that Kay is no longer with us here on Earth. As you know, and I hope all my other cousins with forgive me, your Mother was my favorite cousin. I remember all the treasured and fun times Kay (as we called her then) and I had growing up. Those moments were long ago, but fresh in my mind. Distance and circumstances and time have put those great times in the past. Yet I will always remember.

I can truly sympathize with you in this time of sorrow. Your Mother Linda Kay was a special person. You all have our condolences and we cry with you. A Mother is not supposed to ever die. But she is with you still, and she is with her family in Heaven.

Although we are far away, our heartfelt sympathy and prayerful thoughts go out to you on your journey.
