Linette Rodriquez Davis – November 24th, 1943 – July 27th, 2025
Linette Rodriguez Davis, 81, of Huntersville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 27th. Linette was born to Primitivo Abel Rodriguez and Elizabeth Noelie in Newport News, Virginia on November 24th, 1943. Linette enjoyed living in many places, especially in California, Virginia, New Orleans and North Carolina.
Linette is survived by her husband, Buddy Davis, daughter Miriam Robinson, and son Michael (Kathy) Weber; step-daughters Beth Fink (Ron) and Julie McCoy (Tim); step-son Tom Davis; grandchildren, John Alexander & Michael DavidWeber; Heather, Kiernan and Connor Robinson; step-grandchildren Daphne McCoy (Laurenn), Madeleine Darkwa (Charles,) Paige Cobb (I’zarrien), Josh Cobb (Brittany); great grandchildren, Alex, James and Harper Robinson, Holden and Reece Reid, Beckett McCoy; Sisters Noelie (Richard,) and Ryllis. Also, her sweet friend Sandie Wilkerson from California.
Linette found beauty in all things great or small. These last years of marriage with Buddy were full of love, joy and adventure. She loved Cleo (her cat,) clouds, and cuddling. Her smile and joy will be missed by many. Linette truly enjoyed her last job at Chick-Fil-A, Northlake.
Buddy, and our family, would especially like to thank the staff at Lakeside Health and Rehab Center for their care of Linette.
A service to honor Linette’s life will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 21 at Independence Hill Baptist Church. Burial to follow in church cemetery and visitation to follow burial in the gym.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Linette’s honor to Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
