Lois Pippin's Obituary
Lois E. Pippin of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Monday, July 18th, 2022, at 94. Lois was a native of Greenfield, IN. She moved to Birmingham, MI, with her husband to raise her family, where she lived until 1995, when she moved to Davidson, NC. During her years in Michigan, Lois was an active member of First United Methodist Church and the Women’s Auxiliary to Goodwill. After her move to Davidson, she made many friends, created a new life, and enjoyed her time there tremendously. Lois was an avid gardener and enjoyed many other creative pursuits throughout her years. Her love of antiquing was evident in the beautiful homes she created throughout her life.
Lois’ greatest joy was her family, especially her six grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Richard F. Pippin, and her son Douglas Pippin (Deane). Lois is survived by her daughters Catherine Corona (Greg) and Patricia Mikita (Mike), six grandsons; Bradley Corona (Tanya), Christopher Corona (Leah), Jacob Pippin, Benjamin Pippin, Andrew Mikita (Maggie), Connor Mikita, and three great-grandchildren; Jackson Corona, Miles Corona, and Willa Rose Corona.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In place of flowers, memorial donations should go to:
Aldersgate United Methodist Retirement Community
