Louis Gibson's Obituary
Louis Gibson, 74, of Huntersville, passed away on Friday, February 24 at Huntersville Health and Rehab. He was born on April 25, 1942 in Mecklenburg County to the late Mason and Kizzie Gibson. He worked as a truck driver for Merita Bakery. He grew up in the Ramah Presbyterian Church. His hobbies included boating, fishing and tinkering with old equipment. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his son Jeff Gibson of Cumming, Ga; brother, William Gibson "Bill" of Monroe, NC; sister, Nancy Thomas of Jefferson, SC; sister Patsy Allen of Huntersville, NC and multiple grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael and brother, Dwight "Ike" Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 1st with a 2 p.m. funeral service at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. Burial will follow at Ramah Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
