Louis A. LeBlanc Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Louis A. Leblanc, Sr., 91, of Davidson, passed away peacefully Friday, September 19, 2025 at home.
Louis was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Saint Aloysius and he attended LSU in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He moved to NC in 1990 for retirement from Esso (Exxon) after 36 years to be near their children. Louis enjoyed watching sports. His favorite teams were LSU and the Saints.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, August Thomas Leblanc, Sr., and Marie Harang Leblanc, their daughter, Lynn Marie LeBlanc, his brother, August Thomas Leblanc, Jr., (AT), his father-in-law, Anthony Joseph Samona, Sr., mother-in-law, Cecile Cire Samona, his brother-in-law, Anthony Joseph Simona, Jr., (Bubby).
Mr. LaBlanc is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan Samona LeBlanc, their children; Kerry LeBlanc Wally (Dicky) of Huntersville, NC, Lisa LeBlanc Daniel (John) of Cornelius, NC, Louis A. LeBlanc, Jr. (Joanna) of Mooresville, NC, Lori LeBlanc Greene (Dave) of Mooresville, NC, Donna LeBlanc (Russ) of Statesville, NC, sister-in-law, Charlene Cellos Samona of Metairie, Louisiana, grandchildren; Christopher Langley, Michael Langley, Will Wally, Joseph McGinnis, Tiffany Ramirez, Tracey Wally, Bradley Sterling, Celie Daniel, great-grandchildren; Brendan, Sam, Malia, Darwin, Emerson, Asher, Bennett, Reese, Miles, Sean, Benny and Logan. Also his good friends; Bill Myers and Randy Erwin. Thank you to Christian Wolf, MD for his years of care. Also to Atrium Hospice and Palliative Care Cabarrus (Allison, RN) for their care in his final days.
