Loyd Thomas ‘Tom’ Stephenson of Cornelius, NC, passed away at home on Saturday, June 21, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Harnett County to Lloyd and Izola Stephenson on February 4, 1945. Tom attended Coats Read Obituary

Tom was my first boss right out of high school and learned so much from this man. Also grew up in the church with Tom and his family and my prayers are with you today as we will all miss Tom.

Tom was a friend for many years. We worked together as a team on numerous projects in the Carolinas. He was always easy to work with as long as you did your part---our bigest problem was getting out of Mr. Burt's office so we could get started---We enjoyed our relationship, we worked but we also had fun. Tom will be missed by all of us and he will not be forgotten. We will continue to remember the family in our prayers.
