Luigi Carrano's Obituary
Mr. Luigi Carrano, 84, of Charlotte, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, just shy of his 85th birthday.
Luigi was a native of Calabria, Italy and retired to North Carolina after raising his two daughters in Rochester, NY. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, gardening and playing with his dogs. He also developed a fondness for arts and crafts.
He preceded in death by his parents Gennaro and Giovanna Carrano, his sisters’ Gennara, Nata, Tota, and his brothers’ Francesco and Giuseppe. Mr. Carrano is survived by his wife of 42 years Carmela Carrano, their children Stefania Bradford (Matthew) and Teresa Carrano of Charlotte, grandchildren; Elizabeth and Mariano, sisters Sara, Teresa, and Maria of Calabria, Italy and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Carrano will be interred at 12:00 noon Monday, April 19 at North Lake Memorial Cemetery.
