Luiz Felipe Pontes Farias' Obituary
It is with great sadness to announce that Luiz Felipe Pontes Farias, age 18, passed away on June 30, 2023. Luiz was born in Brazil on May 20, 2005, and moved to the United States with his mother (Ana) and older sister (Emily) in 2009.
He was a ray of sunshine and no matter where he went, he had a smile that could light up the room. Outwardly Luiz looked like he had it all: great fashion, makeup, beautiful hair, beautiful skin, intelligent, confident and a great sense of humor. If you knew Luiz, he was determined to become a model in New York city. He always surrounded himself with friends and family which is where he felt the most comfortable and loved.
His presence is sorely missed, but he will be joining the first man to ever love him, his grandfather (Joao). Luiz was just like his grandfather, caring, loving, funny, and never afraid to show you who he was.
Luiz is survived by mother, Ana Pontes; sister, Emily Pontes Farias; father, Gary Simone; and many loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday with Funeral Services starting at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 9, at James Funeral Home of Huntersville. The family will also receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 118 knox haven lane, mooresville nc 28117
