Lynn Andrews Bachofner's Obituary
Lynn Marie Bachofner, 65, of Huntersville passed away Friday March 21st at the Levin Dickson Hospice House.
Born April 2nd, 1948 in Chicago, IL she was the daughter of the late Robert Andrews and the late Loretta Andrews.
She started her career fulfilling a dream to become a flight attendant until she was presented a better opportunity as a loving wife and mother. She and her husband Brian were married for 43 loving years and were blessed to have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
She enjoyed taking her children to basketball, soccer, wrestling and horse lessons. When she became a grandmother she did the same, spending most weekends at a soccer field cheering for Jackson, Connor, Camryn, Aiden and Trey. Not a Saturday would pass when she didn’t find a toy, or a sweater from a garage sale for the ones she loved.
Lynn was twice an entrepreneur, operating a TCBY and a Child-care business before enjoying a 15 year career at AmeriCredit/GM Financial.
Never one to put herself first, she truly was a self-less person and will be missed by all of those that had the joy to call her a friend, colleague, mother or wife. Lynn was always glad to play the hostess, whether it was her children on a beach vacation to Hilton Head, her family for holidays or colleagues from work. Now she’s in heaven and we’re sure she’s catering her own “welcome home” party and making sure everyone’s drink has a coaster
Her wonderful loving husband Brian Bachofner survives Lynn. Her three children; Brian Bachofner Jr, Michael Bachofner, Dana Emery, 5 grandchildren, and two sisters Lee and Laurel survive her as well. Her brother Roy preceded her in death.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held 4pm Thursday March 27th, at the Huntersville Presbyterian Church 201 S. Old Statesville Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078
