She took her first trip further than South Carolina to Savannah, G.A. Pennsylvania, and the Blue Ridge Mountains at the age of 84, but always found true happiness visiting back home in South Carolina with her family.
Mamie leaves to cherish the memory of her life her one son; Jerome “Bud” Robertson, her three daughters; Diane Cabrera (Late Artemio) of Cornelius, N.C., Annie Mae Robertson-Gonzaga (Alfonso) Charlotte, N.C., Sabrina Bowles (Scott) Virginia. Her one sister and brother; Lula Ma McNeely, Cornelius, N.C., and Hampton Robinson (Vivian) Huntersville, N.C. She as well leaves behind nine grandchildren; Antoine, Shemika, Lucretia, Chelsea, Jameka, David, Danielle, Christopher, and Caleb, and two great-grandchildren; Kaylynn and Kamryn.
